Zak, Nick, Aaron and the tech guys, Billy and Jay took us to a ranch just outside of Reno Nevada. The weather was windy, dark and ominous. This ranch is the home of a famous brothel and is also home to at least one ghost with dark intentions on its mind. This entity has been pushing the girls and holding them down physically. It has attacked more than one of the girls and actually left bruises, mainly on her chest. Zak stood at the gates of the “chicken ranch” and told us of the awful history with Madam Susan Austin standing by him. Since it was cold, she had given him a jacket, which is probably why, (I’m sure) he felt the need to hug his thanks before going in through the gate. He said the history of this place reads like a script: corruption, crime, money, sex and murder all played a part in the current paranormal activity at the ranch. Tara Cann, the manager told us in the empty bar that girls now refuse to be in the “B” hall especially room B1. That is where girls are held down by a spirit. Madam Susan also told us the she has felt very cold in that room and felt a presence. She said it felt like something had grabbed her heart and squeezed it.
In 1976, a boxer named Oscar Bonavena died just outside of the gates having been shot in the heart by a guard inside the ranch. Oscar was rumored to be having an affair with the then-owner of the ranch’s wife. The girls think it is Oscar that is haunting the ranch. Oscar was known for standing outside the gates and stating that someday he would own the ranch. Zak went into room B1 and started asking question of Oscar. Tara told us that some well tempered girls go into room B1 and come out in a vile mood, crabby and swearing. Tara also told us that a housekeeper had just quit that day, after stating that she could no longer work in a haunted house. She had even hung sage in her work area. Tara took us to show us where it was hung. Zak interviewed a current worker, who had also seen Oscar. She showed her a picture of Oscar Bonavena and she became visible shaken, stating that it was the man she saw in a white shirt!
Mark and Debbie Constantino, well known paranormal investigators who often are consulted by GAC, were at the ranch not too long ago. Zak and the guys went to the Constantino’s home to listen to their account of their visit to the ranch. They let us listen to the EVPs they had captured. They had asked, “Who is the man in the white shirt?” and the answer came, that said, “In the shadows”. They had asked a question about B hallway. They also made contact with Madam Susan’s good friend and former hairdresser, Benni. When they asked what do you want? The answer came, “your t*ts”, which made sense as the girl bruised had them on her chest. Zak invited Mark and Debbie to come back with them and call out Oscar.
Lock-down was just starting and Zak was talking to the audience when a voice came through the Ovilous, “affair’, and “main”, “spot”. They had the thermal camera going and Zak asked, “Oscar, are you here?” Just then a loud sound came from the kitchen. A mist was captured in the hall just where Zak had sensed something looking at him. He said it felt heavy in the B hallway. Nick and Aaron lost Zak for a minute and found him lying on the bed in B1 asking questions. Zak asked if the spirit could contact him and a voice came through, “how”. Zak said “you already know how, you just did it!” Zak sent Aaron and Nick to get Debbie and Mark. The words came through, “burn….cleanse…now”. They discussed why the spirits would be saying those words. They decided that since the ranch had invited a Shaman out to cleanse the place and then Mark and Debbie came and did their thing, the spirit was saying what had happened. Zak had heard about a man staying there and had put a do not disturb sign outside his door. The sign had fallen off his door and slid underneath the door, back into the room. Zak asked Mark and Debbie to go into the room and act like their having a good time. It was kind of awkward as he was kidding and Mark was serious! Almost immediately, the sign hanging on the inside of the door started to move. There was no air conditioning on and the windows were shut. Meanwhile, Zak was elsewhere doing an EVP session and asked “How many spirits are here”. The answer was heard, “seven”. Then, back to Debbie, who asked, “What happened in here two days ago?” and the answer came back, “ghosts”. She asked a few more questions and got no answer but Marks device did get this, “demon go to sleep”. Debbie asked, “Were you killed in the parking lot?” The voice said, “Gun….shot….hurt….”! At that time Marks head started to hurt so they left that room. They went into room B1 and did EVP for 20 minutes and didn’t get anything. Zak and they guys joined them and they all started to walk around asking questions. He asked, “Are you afraid of us?” The voice said, “Yes”. “Do you think someone will hurt you?” he asked. “Yeah” came the answer. Zak asked, “Who is touching and attacking woman here?” They got an answer that none of them understood: “Paul”. Zak asked, “What part of the body is being touched?” and the answer came, “shirt”. Zak was taking to Debbie about the equipment and suddenly the spirit voice is heard saying, “wait”. Zak asked what he was supposed to wait for but nothing came back. They switched to a different hallway and Zak asked if Benni was there. He asked for any message for Susan and the word “Madam” came through correcting him with Susan’s title. Then after a few more questions a loud bang was heard down the hallway. It got very cold but nothing else was captured. With all the EVP and Ovilous action and the mist that was captured that night, the guys thought that Oscar was definitely still there, but that he was not alone.
