Halle Berry gives birth to a baby boy

Halle Berry gave birth to a baby boy today. This is her first child with her husband, actor Oliver Martinez.

According to E!News, she delivered her baby at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

This new arrival is her second child. She had her first child, Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, who got beat up by Oliver Martinez last Thanksgiving.

No word on what the couple chose to name their new son.

Berry will be starring in a new series on CBS called "Extant," which is about an astraunaut who goes to space and returns home after spending a year there. In the series, she will be trying to reconnect with her son and her husband.
According to USA Today,Berry said in a statement that, "I'm always on the lookout for amazing roles, and when you see material that contains this strong of auspices, nuance and complexity, it compels me to run toward it no matter the medium."
