Jake Locker will be the starter for the Titan's game against San Francisco Sunday.
After suffering a hip injury three weeks ago Locker is already back and ready to play. Locker was injured in the Titan's game against the Jets in Week 4, and had to be carted off the field. Locker only missed two games due to the injury, according to CBS Sports. The Titans lost the two games without Locker with Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starter.
ESPN reports that although Locker is expected to start, Fitzpatrick still got his usual amount of reps at practice on Friday as if he were to be the starter.
"We really want to get a feel for what (Locker) feels he can do well and what his limitations may or may not be," Titans head coach Mike Munchak said. "I thought on the field he handled himself really well."
Before Locker's injury, he threw for 721 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions through four games. The Titans will be happy to have him back, I'm sure.
