Jamie Foxx was quick to dismiss any rumors that he and pal Katie Holmes were an item, earlier this week. The Oscar-winning actor told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday that, “(The rumors) are 100% not true.”
Rumors about a romance between the pair began to swirl after they were seen dancing together at an A-list Hamptons event in August.
Foxx continued on to say, “In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced as a charity even along with a lot of other people.”
It has been speculated that the couple has been sharing a lot of secret time together, even spending quality time with each other at their New York City apartments.
In Touch magazine even reported, “Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while,” however, according to Foxx, there is no truth to this.
Foxx co-stared alongside Holmes’ ex-husband, Tom Cruise, in “Collateral” and are known to be good friends.
Foxx respects the bro-code as he claims this friendship has not escalated into a romance.
