Country superstar, Jason Aldean’s tour bus hit and killed a pedestrian in Knox County, Ind., last night.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the news to ABC News. The department also confirmed that Aldean was on the bus when the pedestrian was hit.
According to the police report, when the coroner arrived on the scene, he announced “the individual deceased from trauma to the head and chest.”
US Weekly reported that the victim reportedly walked into the bus’ path and was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The pedestrian was identified as Albert Kennedy.
Aldean took to Twitter to express his sadness and condolences for Kennedy and his family. “With a heavy heart, I'm sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana. In all the years I've been touring and all the miles we've driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I'm praying for Albert Kennedy's family and friends today and ask that you do the same."
