Rap superstar and business mogul, Sean "Jay Z" Carter, 43 is being pressured into commenting and possibly ending his partnership with the upscale store Barneys in New York. The collection will be called,"The New York Holiday Collection," and it will be released in November.

Earlier on this week, two black shoppers were racially profiled by Barneys employees and the NYPD. Trayon Christian, 19 filed a lawsuit against Barneys and the NYPD claiming that he was handcuffed and detained by police back in April for buying a $349 Ferragamo belt.

Another shopper, Kayla Phillips was questioned by police back in February after buying a $2,500 Celine handbag. The police surrounded her in front of a subway questioning her purchase. At a press conference on Friday, Phillips told reporters, "I felt helpless, confused, demeaned, humiliated, and embarrassed."

Even though Barneys has denied the allegations, NYPD is pointing the finger at them saying that, Barneys made the call to question the two shoppers.

Jay Z has a deal with Barneys which he will be making millions for selling exclusive wares for Barneys which will include scarves and raincoats. Due to the racial allegations, fans and social media users have signed a petition telling Jay Z to drop his deal with Barneys.

So far, Jay Z has been quiet about the matter. Even when he was confronted in Stockholm, the rapper kept quiet about the matter.
