Jennie Garth visited the Bethenny show and chatted with the host about dating after divorce.
According to the Daily Mail, Garth split with her second husband, actor Peter Facinelli, in June. Now that she’s back in the dating game, she spoke with Frankel about dating being a “weird type of torture.”
“It’s super challenging,” the 41-year-old said. “I’ve had to go through a lot. You have to find your way and stumble and make mistakes.”
The Beverly Hills, 90210 starlet continued, “I think that’s the only way you learn how to do it is by making mistakes unfortunately. I expected to come out of it and just be great at it. I'm smart and I thought I could do it. How hard could it be? I've realized I have to fumble my way and create the space to really be open to learning because I don't know how to do it."
Garth also revealed that she still has hope that she will find her perfect match. “I look for somebody that shares an energy,” she said. “It doesn’t matter what the person looks like or what they really do. There has to be that first and foremost, that zing. That thing.”
E! Online reports that Garth is now dating the CEO of Trains, Michael Shimbo.
