Kellen Winslow received a four-game ban for violating the leagues performance enhancing drug policy. He will not return until after the Jets play the Saints in Week 9.

Winslow had an interesting week leading up to this suspension. He was excused from practice on Friday without an explanation from head coach Rex Ryan. Prior to the suspension he was listed as doubtful for this week's game against the Steelers.

According to NY Daily News Winslow was not very cooperative speaking with the press after the Jets 30-28 win over the Falcons. He was listed as questionable going into the game and only played 19 of the Jets' 46 snaps. He did have a catch for a touchdown in the game. He declined media requests this week.

CBS Sports reports that Winslow is one of the Jets' leading receivers this season after only playing one game last season. He currently has a team-high 17 catches for 169 yards and two touchdowns.

Winslow has been hindered by a knee injury, and now with the suspension back up tight end Jeff Cumberland will step in after having a solid game last week against the Falcons.
