Jeweler Lorraine Schwartz is reportedly furious at Kris Humphries for making a profit off of the engagement ring, which once belonged to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, he sold at auction.

Schwartz apparently cut Humphries a major deal on the ring, valued at $2 million. He paid $250,000 for it but made a $500,000 profit off of it. On Tuesday, the ring sold for $749,000 at Christie’s in New York.

However, Humphries isn’t keeping it all to himself. A source close to the NBA star told RadarOnline he is “donating a portion of proceeds to charity, including his own that benefits children.”

Still, Schwartz isn’t pleased. “He could have returned [the] ring, very low-key and would have had his money returned,” an insider said. “Lorraine Schwartz took a huge loss on it, and would have appreciated first offer of refusal before it was put up for auction.”

Another source said Humphries “could have never afforded such an extravagant engagement ring for Kim” if she didn’t give him a deal.
