John Mayer accompanied his girlfriend Katy Perry in New York City over the weekend when she performed on Saturday Night Live. They really turned up the heat at the after party at the Heartland Brewery, showing some PDA.
The couple partied with Lorne Michaels, BJ Novak and SNL host Bruce Willis but only had eyes for each other.
"[They] were beyond affectionate and adorable," a source told Us Weekly. “He was rubbing her back, then pulled her in for an intimate close chat. She put her hand inside his jacket and they were kissing and gazing into each other's eyes."
They did do some mingling at the event but eventually left together around 3am.
Huffington Post reports Perry performed her singles “Roar” and “Walking on Air” from her new album Prism while on SNL.
She tweeted throughout the night, writing after her performance “Well, that was fun! Goodnight kittens, thank you for the love... #SNL.”
Before that she took the opportunity to joke about the government shutdown, writing “Yes, the zoo animals have been a bit bored since the government shutdown so I invited some of them on stage with me tonight... #SNL.”
