Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most likeable people in Hollywood due to her candid charm, but it turns out that Josh Hutcherson doesn’t think she’s the funniest one on the Hunger Games set.
According to E! Online, Hutcherson revealed to Seventeen magazine that he believes that he is actually the funniest star on set.
“We have this debate all the time,” he says. “I think it’s me! This sounds mean, but it’ true, and Jennifer would agree. Her thing is being shocking, goofy, and silly—which is amazing, and it takes a more talented person to do that. I like to be more clever and witty. But if you had to go on who gets more laughs, I’d say she’d be the winner.”
People reports that the 20-year-old actor also spoke about his love life.
“I think getting broken up with is worse than breaking up with somebody,” the Catching Fire star says. “For me it hurts more when you’re ready for something to keep going and the other person isn’t.”
On dating girls for the wrong reasons: “Definitely. I was blind at first by looks, by love, whatever. I’ve been known to fall hard and quick for girls, which I think is better than not falling at all.”
Hutchinson gained media attention last week with his candid statement in an interview with Out magazine. He told the mag, “Maybe I could say right now I’m 100 percent straight. But who knows? In a f—ing year, I could meet a guy and be like, ‘Whoa, I’m attracted to this person.’”
Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters November 22nd. Hutcherson plays the role of Peeta Mellark, one of Katniss Everdeen’s love interests.
