Following an explosive Twitter feud, Kanye West will make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Yeezus rapper will be on the show on Wednesday night.
West became enraged with Kimmel after he did a spoof of his BBC Radio 1 interview with ZaneLowe, hiring children to act out what West said word-for-word.
In his opening monologue, Kimmel told his audience that he got a phone call from West. “Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? OK. I didn't know if he was mad at all of us," he said at the time, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
But West didn’t just call Kimmel and demand a public apology, he also trashed him on Twitter. He wrote, “JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER.”
He also compared Kimmel to his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, saying “SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!”
“SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F--KING BEN AFFLECK…#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!”
Here is the spoof that set him off:
