Kate Moss for Topshop will be returning to Topshop stores worldwide in April, 2014. The English supermodel designed for the international trendsetting store from May 2007 to November 2010, but this is her first collaboration with Topshop since then. In the interim, Moss has been involved with other products and fashion brands including Longchamp and Carphone Warehouse.

According to Vogue UK, Moss and longtime friend Sir Philip Green, owner of The Arcadia Group (which includes Topshop and Miss Selfridge among others), came up with the idea this summer while on holiday together. Moss will launch a collection comprised of 40 pieces, which will include womenswear, accessories, and footwear. The line will presumably be inspired by Kate's wardrobe, as was her 2007 collection. Kate's collection will be available at Topshop stores in 40 countries worldwide as well as topshop.com.
The Telegraph has quoted Moss as saying "I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop. Now more than ever, with London being at the forefront of fashion…it feels like I'm back home working with Topshop."
Danielle Pinnington, managing director of shopper research agency, Shoppercentric told BBC News that she was surprised by the return of the Moss/Topshop collaboration, "It did go well before, especially at the start - but that's because it was breaking new ground, and there was a huge marketing push behind it. Whether it can have the same impact again, I would question." She added, however, that she believes Kate Moss still has a "fast fashion and broad" appeal.
In 2007, Kate Moss for Topshop sold out online in just 12 hours. I guess we should get ready for another shopping frenzy!
