Singer Kelly Clarkson and her fiance Brandon Blackstock have gotten a marriage license.
E! News is exclusively reporting that they are nearing a wedding since the license is only valid for 30 days.
However their wedding shakes out, it won't be as she might have originally discussed with Blackstock. She previously told E! News, "OK, this is why it's confusing. I'm not married yet, because we had a wedding planned, like a huge one--and we still have a wedding planned, but we're not doing the big huge one."
The singer, who has been married once before, did say that she plans on wearing a Temperley dress for her wedding to Blackstock. She also revealed her plans once they are married: "I want babies, like, right off the bat!"
She added in the interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, "Well, I'm totally gonna have a girl. My first child will be a girl--I know it in my soul."
The news of a wedding comes as a slight surprise after the singer told People in August that the couple were planning on eloping.
"We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, 'So, we change our minds and we want to elope.' We just got so overwhelmed by it - all the decisions."
Clarkson said, "We sent out a save-the-date to everyone and then it got crazy and all the details were leaking."
