Kim Kardashian revealed that when she ties the knot with fiancé Kanye West, she will be taking his name.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star told E! News that her family name will be kept in her name, but it won't be hyphenated. "It'll be Kim Kardashian West," she said at her 33rd birthday party. "Not hyphened. Maybe make [Kardashian], like, the middle."

Kim follows in her sister Khloé's footsteps – when she married Lamar Odom, she took the name Khloé Kardashian Odom.

Kardashian and Kanye have been busy since the proposal, and haven't had time to sit down and talk wedding plans yet. But Kim is ready to give her fiancé the reigns when it comes to planning the big day. "We honestly haven't had a moment to talk about it or even breathe," she told People. "So we haven't really talked about it, but whatever he wants."

“It's been such a whirlwind. We need like a moment to relax and figure it all out," she added in the interview with E!. "I'm going to leave this up to him.”
