Just because Kris and Bruce Jenner have confirmed that they are living apart, that doesn’t mean that rumors about their relationship will stop. In fact, Tuesday’s announcement has only lead to a new crop of rumors popping up. One is that they did not sign a prenuptial agreement, meaning that they could lose millions of dollars. It is also being reported that, like many developments in the Kardashian clan, the separation will be covered in Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kris and Bruce Jenner have been married for 22 years, but on Tuesday, they made their separation official after months of tabloid speculation. “Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority,” they said in a joint statement.
Now, Radar Online claims that they never signed a prenup, which means that the two would end up splitting the $125 million Kardashian empire Kris has built. The site notes that Olympic gold medalist Bruce also has his own fortune, thanks to endorsements and other businesses.
“...As the Kardashian brand and fortune grew, Bruce joked to Kris that she should have gotten a prenup so he couldn’t take anything from her,” a source told Radar. “Never in her wildest dreams would Kris have ever anticipated she could be losing the family fortune she worked so hard for. She won’t give it up without a fight.”
One of the main questions remaining after the announcement was how exactly it would affect their E! reality show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show, which is in its ninth season, will continue and will chronicle the drama surrounding their relationship. “The show will continue to address all aspects of the family's lives, and it's obvious to anyone who has been watching throughout the series that Kris and Bruce have always been open about their relationship,” THR’s source explained.
“We are living apart,” Kris told Us Weekly. “But there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family.”
