Kim Kardashian’s former father-in-law, Kris Humphries’ dad William Humphries, is commenting on the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s engagement to Kanye West.

Kardashian and Humphries split after just 72 days of marriage in 2011, although their divorce didn’t become finalized until this summer, right before she gave birth to North West.

“I don't really care, it's water under the bridge. But I wish her all best,” Humphries told The Daily News before laughing off questions about the 15-carat engagement ring.

"(West) probably didn't choose it. Does a leopard really change its spots? I don't think so. Not much changes, it's just different actors this time around,” he said.

The ring was designed by the same designer Humphries, 28, used, Lorraine Schwartz. A rep for Schwartz told E! News West was involved in the design process, saying "He and Lorraine emailed back and forth, and stayed up nights discussing how he wanted it to be. He wanted the diamond to look like it was floating on air. Everything was his idea from beginning to end. The ring is flawless. Not just internally flawless, it's flawless,” the rep added. “It's a D-stone, the best diamond there is, type 2A. It's a perfect cushion cut diamond."

Humphries also said of his son, who’s gearing up to play on the Boston Celtics, that he hasn’t talked to him about Kardashian’s engagement but "I'm sure he doesn't think about that stuff anymore. He's getting ready to play.”

Humphries even commented on Bruce and Kris Jenner’s separation, saying "Well, if Bruce and Kris are any indication, I'd say good luck. She's stepping right into it all over again.”
