Australian pop star Kylie Minogue and her Spanish model boyfriend Andres Velencoso have broken up after five years of dating.
Apparently, the breakup was smooth, and no one was hurt. A friend of Minogue’s told US Weekly, "It was more of a time thing - they didn't get much of it together. There was no fallout, they're still friends, just not lovers anymore."
According to the Mirror, the Minogue was heartbroken over the breakup, but still managed to attend a charity event in Paris over the weekend.
The friend added that the “Locomotion” singer is keeping plenty busy. "She's doing alright -- she throws herself into her work during times like this and she's got so much work going on at the moment."
One thing 45-year-old Minogue is immersing herself is her coaching job for The Voice U.K..
"I'm very excited to become a coach on The Voice. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series," Minogue told the BBC. "The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice gives us all a part to play in that."
Season three of The Voice U.K. will air starting in January 2014.
