The Kardashians have kept the struggles plaguing Lamar Odom’s NBA career and his marriage to Khloe Kardashian as secretive as they could during these past several months, but Odom’s former Los Angeles Lakers coach, Phil Jackson, is candidly speaking out about his condition.
He opened up in a recent interview with The Seth Davis Show as well as TMZ, saying the Kardashians might have been a “distraction” for Odom, but does not blame the famous family for his issues.
Jackson also told TMZ about the possibility of returning to the Lakers, "I think that bridge might have been burned.”
The former NBA coach explained that several people involved with the organization have tried to get through to Odom but it hasn’t worked, causing him to go into “hibernation.”
Odom is long-rumored to have a crack addiction problem, although things are reportedly looking up for him now.
E! Online notes he has even reunited with his wife, Khloe, at a Kanye West concert over the weekend.
