Former Full House actress Lori Loughlin finally addressed co-star John Stamos’ comments over the summer that she was the “one that got away” for him. Stamos had said that he had gone on a date with his on-screen wife before he wound up marrying Rebecca Romijn.
Back in June, Stamos told HuffPo Live that he and Loughlin went to Disneyland for a date. “We did have some off timing, but no disrespect to her family and her husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away,” he said.
Loughlin never commented on it, until E! News caught up with her in Beverly Hills at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts opening.
The site asked her if she felt the same way. “Oh my goodness. Well, we'll never know, right,” she replied. “I will always love John, always.”
Still, E! News pressed her, asking if she had any romantic feelings for Stamos. “You're funny!” she said.
Loughlin was also asked about possible Full House reunion plans, but she said that she doesn’t know of any. “If it were a really good script and a great project but sometimes I think that it's better off to leave those TV shows as they were and not do reunion shows,” she said.
Of course, Full House has been off the air since 1995 and it would probably be too hard to get everyone back together. Stamos currently stars on USA Network’s Necessary Roughness and Loughlin recently appeared on 90210.
