Marilyn Manson has ditched his trademark makeup for a cameo in an upcoming episode of Eastbound & Down.
The singer, real name Brian Hugh Warner, is known to be a big fan of the HBO television show and has been trying to get producers to give him a cameo for a while now, TMZ is reporting. Well the producers evidently finally broke down and gave him a part in an upcoming episode.
The singer arrived on set, sans his normal makeup, making it difficult to tell that the man walking on set was Manson.
Manson is evidently a big enough fan that he attended the premiere for the fourth season and sent emails to Danny McBride about being on the show, according to New York Daily News.
McBride said back in 2010 to MTV News, "I get weird emails from Marilyn Manson now. He sends me weird emails in the middle of the night of what he's watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background. One time he literally sent me a 'Peanuts' special I guess he was watching."
Eastbound & Down is just two episodes into its final season.
