ABC confirms that rocker Marilyn Manson will be joining the cast of Once Upon a Time in November.
Rolling Stone confirms that Manson will voice the character Shadow, who gives life to Neverland.
"We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson," creators and executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz told Rolling Stone. "We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl."
According to the Huffington Post, Manson will make his debut in the eighth episode of season 3, expected to air in November.
The third season follows the story of Peter Pan and the famous Neverland, bringing in characters like Emma, Rumpelstiltskin, Regina, Captain Hook. The Shadow also has a darker, more menacing role compared to the classic Peter Pan stories. His main purpose is to steal souls and kidnap.
"We're very excited for people to see Neverland, meet Peter Pan, and we think the show is going in a really fun, magical and yet emotional direction," Kitsis told Rolling Stone in September.
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
