Director Michael Bay was the victim of an attempted attack in Hong Kong, while filming another installment of Transformers.
Bay may have already lost out on a potential viewer of the fourth installment of Transformers, before the movie debuts.
Today reports that two vendors who had been inconvenienced by the filming came on set demanding more than the agreed upon price for the loss of business.
“I personally told this man and his friends to forget it we were not going to let him extort us.”
Various outlets have reported that Bay was severely hurt, but Bay took to his personal blog MichaelBay to give a detailed account of what transpired,“He walked right up to me and tried to smack my face, but I ducked threw the air unit on the floor and pushed him away. That’s when the security jumped on him.”
Paramount studios issued their own statement that the director is okay and the men were subdued by Hong Kong police, noted Deadline.
