Miley Cyrus reportedly wanted to do her controversial VMAs performance topless, but instead had to settle for a nude-colored bra. But when you pose for photos for Terry Richardson, there’s no one to tell you “no,” so she bared her breasts for the famed photographer.
In the photos, many of which are NSFW, Cyrus is seen wearing a leotard that barely covers anything under her waist, posing suggestively with a can of Arizona ice tea. In the images where she is wearing pants, she’s either wearing a see-through shirt or nothing at all. And yes, there is a photo with her sticking her tongue out.
Several other photos do show her wearing a tie-dye shirt, including three images of her smoking. Another image is just a close-up of the now-famous tongue.
This was just the latest Cyrus-related news of the day. Earlier today, Sinead O’Connor had tried to offer the Bangerz singer advice, but instead of taking it, Cyrus compared O’Connor to Amanda Bynes.
It was also revealed that Britney Spears asked Cyrus before the VMAs if she would perform topless. “I tried, but I don't think MTV's going to allow it,” Cyrus replied. The exchange is seen in the MTV documentary Miley: The Movement.
Cyrus also hosts and performs on Saturday Night Live. It’s doubtful that Lorne Michaels will allow her to go topless, but there may be some tongue-wagging.
