Miley Cyrus opened up about her split from her fiancé Liam Hemsworth while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. This is the first time she’s talked about the end of their year-long engagement.

Cyrus asked DeGeneres if she wanted her money back for the engagement party she threw for her last time she was there in Nov. of 2012. She also joked about the strippers, saying she should’ve asked for one of their numbers because it would now "come in handy."

However, Cyrus, 20, shows no signs of heartbreak when she explained that she’s just trying to move on, USA Today reports.

"People spend more time thinking about it than I really do," she said. "I believe when a chapter is done, you have to close it and start that new one."

She added of her new music and booming career, “I have so much to be thankful for at this time that my energy hasn't really been focused on that." Cyrus went on to say that she’s been “impressed” that people have been able to focus on her music instead of her break-up saying, “I didn't want it to make me to sacrifice what I've been working for, for just the attention to be on that,” E! Online reports.

Speaking of Bangerz, she said the album starts off with a positive song about love and ends with a song called “Someone Else.” She explained, “I think I knew more intuitively where my life was going than what I actually thought I did at the time.”

Cyrus said she’s now “obsessed with being alone” and “hearing my thoughts."
