Supermodel Miranda Kerr confirmed on Wednesday at the opening of Stuart Weitzman’s shoe line for Gilt that she will not be walking in this year's highly anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. However, despite recent rumors, Kerr is not cutting ties with the famous lingerie company.

Victoria's Secret asked Kerr to walk in the show, but she declined because of a scheduling conflict, which had nothing to do with circulating rumors about Kerr being 'difficult'. The model told Fashionista that there are no hard feelings, just a very busy schedule, “They are my family, and we’re all very close. When I spoke to Ed [Razek, President and Chief Marketing Officer for Victoria’s Secret], he was like, ‘I’m really upset that you can’t be here!’ but I’ve got another contract and commitment at the same time. I can’t be in two places at the same time, you know?”
This will be the first year Kerr won't walk in the annual show since she was named an Angel in 2007 (excepting 2010, while she was pregnant with baby Flynn). Why is she skipping the show? She has two babies to take care of, little Flynn and her newest endeavor, beauty line Kora Organics. Marie Claire quoted Kerr referring to the project,“It’s my baby. I really put my heart and soul into it.”
“We’re in over 400 stores in Australia, we launched on Net-a-Porter, and we just launched our website,” Kerr told Fashionista. “So we’ve got a new fulfillment center in Los Angeles and Australia, which is so much more efficient for our customers and for the environment."
And if that wasn't enough, the Australian beauty has also been busy with more modeling. According to E Online, Kerr will continue on as the face of international fashion brand Mango.
