Leonardo DiCaprio’s new girlfriend, Kat Torres, has confirmed their relationship in Brazilian newspaper Extra.
The 24-year-old model even told the reporter that she’s worried he will get upset with her for talking about it, since they have a “pact” not to talk about it publicly.
"I worry about what he will think about me talking to you. We have a pact that nothing can ever be said about our relationship," she explained, AceShowBiz reports. "
“In Europe it is different. People see us together in many places so they do not need to ask us about anything. He doesn't like being photographed and barely goes out walking once people have realized it's him."
Nonetheless, she did gush about him. Torres said she met DiCaprio, 38, at the Cannes International Film Festival this year and they hit it off right away.
The model called him “amazing,” and said they “were staying at the same house. I really don't know how the photographers got the picture because we were well-guarded and no one could come close in any circumstances."
However, sources say that Torres and DiCaprio have only met once and she’s trying to get publicity out of him. An insider told Metro, “Leonardo met her once with dozens of people five months ago. They aren’t dating. Kat is trying to get coverage.”
