The mother of former Jersey Shore star Pauly D’s daughter has now been revealed, and she’s tweeting about the media coverage of their child.
Amanda Markert, 25, seemed shocked that their daughter, said to be about 5 months now, was being “exploited.”
“I can't understand how and why people are so cruel and negative! My goodness, give it up already!” she wrote. She later added, “My poor, innocent daughter being exploited. People should be ashamed involving an infant.”

Markert is likely referring to reports like TMZ’s that state she and the reality star turned famous DJ are in a custody battle.

The report states Pauly doesn’t think Markert is fit for motherhood, since she previously worked at Hooters and has another child. They reportedly hate each other and have each filed legal papers against each other, with Pauly fighting for custody and accusing her of being greedy with asking for money.
She also tweeted, “....public media is the devil.”
