MSNBC host Joe Scarborough quietly gets divorce from wife of 12 years

Joe Scarborough, who hosts MSNBC’s Morning Joe, quietly got a divorce earlier this year, according to reports.

Scarborough, 50, first filed for divorce documents in Connecticut back in September 2012, reports TMZ. The divorce from Susan Waren, a former aide to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, was granted back in January.

A source for The New York Daily News also confirmed the divorce.

Waren and Scarborough, who previously served as a Florida Congressman, married in 2001. They have two children, ages 10 and 5. Scarborough was previously married to Melanie Hinton for 13 years before divorcing in 1999. The two also had two children.

According to The Washington Post, MSNBC did not offer a comment. Scarborough has not commented on Twitter either.

Scarborough began hosting Morning Joe back in 2007 and is MSNBC’s main Republican voice. He co-hosts the show with Mika Brzezinski and, as TMZ notes, the two have had to deny any romantic feelings for each other in the past.
