Boxing great, Muhammad Ali made an appearance at the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards on Thursday in Louisville. Ali hardly makes any public appearances due to living with Parkinson's disease.
According to CNN, Ali presented awards and took pictures while looking frail.

His wife Lonnie Ali says,"This is really about his legacy and extending that legacy to others and inspiring them and encouraging them to do the kinds of work that now he cannot always do himself."
According to ABC News Ali never took the stage during the event. The audience of 700b looked at photos of Ali when he traveled the world, meeting with religious leaders and him holding the torch at the 1996 Olympics.

Many people showed up to the event and received awards for their good deeds. Christina Aguilera received humanitarian of the year award for her work to end world hunger and Michael Bolton was awarded for promoting gender equality.
Former President Jimmy Carter received a lifetime achievement award.
