In an interview with Men’s Fitness a few weeks ahead of the announcement that the Jonas Brothers would be canceled their tour, Nick Jonas showed some hints that the band wasn’t completely on the same page.
Nick, the youngest Jonas brother, mostly talked about his workout routine and having an incredibly fit body despite having type 1 diabetes, but he did talk about the band.
As far as pros and cons of being in a band consisting of family, he explained, “The pro is that you have a really good support system. The con is that you are with the same people every day for a long time, which, if you’re family or not, can be a lot at times. But we all have a good relationship and actually really enjoy our time together.”
When asked if things “break down” after a while since they do spend so much time together, he admitted “My brother Joe forgets lyrics a little bit [Laughs]. There have been a lot of times when I have had to help him out onstage,” adding, “The fans know the words to every song, so they can kind of help as well.”
When announcing the cancelation of the tour just two days before it was supposed to launch, their rep said of their future “It remains to be seen.”
