Before Cyrus came to Wonderland, he had an owner in Agrabah. Jafar hunted down this owner, so the owner wishes Cyrus away. This wish landed Cyrus in Wonderland. However, he is still being hunted by Jafar, although traveling worlds has definitely slowed Jafar down.

Alice and the Knave of Hearts decide to use Alice’s wishes to summon Cyrus, which will allow them to know that he is safe. However, they must have the bottle in order to use the wishes, so they must go to retrieve it. The bottle was buried by Cyrus and Alice when she swore that she would never use the wishes, because if she ever used them, Cyrus would have to go back into the bottle to await the next person to rub the bottle.

Alice and the Knave must cross a large lake to get to the bottle, but the Knave has a fear of water and can’t swim. So, they summon Silvermist, a fairy who will give them safe passage across the lake. However, the Knave obviously has a past with this fairy and broke her heart, so Silvermist drops him when they are flying over the middle of the lake. Alice saves him and they ride a turtle across. It is revealed that the Knave may have had a love once, Anastasia, but that it fell apart. They continue on their route to the tree to dig up the bottle.

Meanwhile, Jafar continues his bullying of the Red Queen until she reluctantly tells him where the bottle is hidden. Jafar heads off on his magic carpet to dig up the bottle. When Alice and the Knave arrive, they find Jafar magically digging for the bottle. Alice told everyone that it was hidden under the tree so that she could see who she was up against. Now she knows who Jafar is and what he looks like.

Alice and the Knave go to the real location to retrieve the bottle, but they find it already dug up. The Red Queen, with the help of the white rabbit, found the bottle and dug it up. The Red Queen uses it as leverage against Jafar. The Red Queen now has the upper-hand and Jafar can no longer bully his way to what he wants.

Alice doubts her relationship with Cyrus for the first time, but Cyrus sends her a magic letter just in time to say that he loves her, but that he wants her to leave for her own safety. Her reponse—“I’m coming for you.”
