After Katy Perry’s performance of “Roar” on the results show of X Factor on Sunday, One Direction’s Niall Horan professed his love to her. The boy band member even tweeted a marriage proposal to John Mayer’s girlfriend.

Horan tweeted to the Prism singer, 27, “I love you @katyperry ! Thank you! Ps . Will u marry me?”

The tweet is clearly a joke, but Horan did just break up with British singer Ellie Goulding. The break-up might not have been a good one, as she just recently said, "All men are crap - at least the ones I've been seeing lately.”
"I find a lot of men, especially young men, project the problems they had with previous girlfriends on to me, which is really unfair,” she added, The Mirror reports.

For Perry’s performance on the U.K. version of the show on Sunday, she wore a feminine version of a Tiger costume.

She said after the performance, “I get to dress up like a big cat so I love this song. I feel grrreat!”
