No one saw this coming! Sources have confirmed that Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom and Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr have decided to end their marriage of three years.
One of Bloom’s reps confirmed that the couple has called it off to E! News.
"In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," a rep said in a statement to E! "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."
36-year-old Bloom and 30-year-old Kerr reportedly met and started dating back in 2007, after Bloom’s four-year relationship with actress Kate Bosworth. They were married in a small ceremony in the summer of 2010, soon after announcing their engagement.
"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," the rep continued.
Bloom and Kerr are parents to a son, Flynn, who was born in January 2011.
Last year, Kerr was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where the talk show host gushed about how amazing of a couple Kerr and Bloom made. DeGeneres even asked Kerr if she and Bloom would have more children in the future, and Kerr responded by saying that it might be a possibility “in a couple of years.”
