Owen Wilson is stirring up some drama while he prepares for baby number two. The 44-year-old actor is expecting a baby with personal trainer Caroline Lindqvist, who is currently married.
According to
Star Magazine, Lindqvist filed for divorce from her husband Ritu Chopra in May. The couple was married for nine years, but Wilson and Lindqvist have known each other since 2003 and have been close ever since. A source claimed that Chopra didn't know that the pair was still seeing each other from time to time and was completely surprised by the news that Lindqvist was pregnant. “Ritu had no idea about her history with Owen, so he was completely blindsided by the news of Caroline’s pregnancy,” they said.
The Wedding Crashers star does not plan on pursuing a relationship with Lindqvist, but he will be active in his child's life. "Owen is very involved with the pregnancy," the same source said. "He isn't in a relationship with Caroline, nor do they plan to be in one, but he is very supportive of everything. They see each other and talk often about what they want for the child. Owen is very open-minded about everything and has told Caroline he will do whatever he can."
US Weekly reports that this will be Wilson's second child. In Jan. 2011, the actor welcomed his first bundle of joy with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell. The couple broke up five months after their son, Robert Ford's, birth.
After he became a father for the first time, he sat down to brag about his new son with Jay Leno. "What they say about newborns and not getting a lot of sleep -- that's true," Wilson said. "You look at every place as a potential nap place. I'm looking at this couch - maybe at commercial break [I'll take a] little shut-eye there." Looks like he'll become an insomniac once again.
