Marilyn Monroe’s medical records will be auctioned off, proving the world is still infatuated with her decades after her death. The records reveal a secret about her that was otherwise unknown – she had a chin implant.

Included in the auction next month will be six sets of X-rays as well as doctor’s notes on Monroe. The notes indicate she had undergone plastic surgery.

According to Reuters, the notes were written by plastic surgeon Michael Gurdin, who was based out of California. The notes are from 1950-1962 and are expected to sell for anywhere between $15,000 and $30,000.

Martin Nolan, executive director of Julien's Auction said of the records, “Nobody really thought about Marilyn Monroe having plastic surgery. It was always speculation - did she or didn't she? They thought she was such a natural beauty, they didn't want to believe."

"Also at that time, going back to the 1950s, people didn't go for plastic surgery procedures," he added. "This is very, very new."

The doctor’s notes from Gurdin, who have them to the unnamed seller as a gift, show that she got the chin implant in 1950 ahead of some of her biggest films; The Seven Year Itch, Some Like it Hot and more.

CBS notes that auction will take place in November at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills.
