Prince Harry’s relationship with Cressida Bonas might be on an upward trend, but it turns out that doesn’t necessarily mean that she gets invited to royal family occasions.
According to People, Bonas has not been questioning whether or not she should attend the event. In fact, it turns out that the 24-year-old prince hasn’t even asked Bonas to attend Wednesday’s christening at St. James’ Palace in London.
A source revealed, “It was always so unlikely that she would be invited. To say she is shy and mulling it over is rubbish.”
E! Online reports that Bonas’s attendance would put too much pressure on the couple.
“If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged,” the source revealed.
Prince George’s christening will last 45 minutes at St. James’s Palace and will be presided over by the Archbishop Of Canterbury.
An insider revealed to E! News, “It’s not just intimate, it’s absolutely private. William and Kate apparently want this to be a low-profile, personal event.”
The congregation member continued, “While it’s stunning and regal in quite a way, it’s a million miles from the pomp and circumstance of their wedding.”
