Reese Witherspoon is now a busy mom of three; Ava, 14, and Deacon, 10, and a 13-month-old son Tennessee with new husband Jim Toth.
At the Elle Women in Hollywood gala on Monday, she talked about her children possibly following in her shoes and getting into acting or another avenue in show business.
She said for her it’s been a “great opportunity." She also explained to E! News, "I've seen the world. I've met the most amazing people…It's afforded me many wonderful opportunities. So whatever they want to do with their lives, whatever dreams they have, I support them."
Witherspoon had her two older children with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, who is also an actor. Toth is also in the business but behind the scenes as an agent.
The Oscar winner’s next project will also be behind the camera. She will be directing Gone Girl, starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike.
E! News notes Chelsea Handler even made fun of Witherspoon at the event while presenting her an award, joking about her arrest earlier this year.
"Personally, as a true friend, my favorite project of hers was an overlooked short film that she made earlier this year," said Handler. "She plays a very inebriated housewife defending her inebriated husband."
