Rider Strong of Boy Meets World married his girlfriend, Alexandra Barreto, 31, on Sunday, only a day after his former costar Danielle Fishel also tied the knot. The ceremony was held at a summer camp in Oregon.
Rider who played the character of Shawn Hunter told People, "I am missing some of my Boy Meets World family. That was my fault, Danielle chose the date first," moments before the ceremony.
The 33-year-old married his long time girlfriend in a camp-themed weekend celebration complete with a ropes course, games, and a talent show. The wedding party even slept in bunks at the campsite!
According to E!, Rider asked Alexandra to marry him on Dec. 23, while her parents were visiting for the holidays.
"I took her for a walk under the redwoods on the property where I grew up in Northern California. It was pouring rain, but it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon, so I just decided to go for it."
Strong also spent weeks making the engagement ring, himself.
He learned to carve the ring out of wax, and he cast it in white gold.
He said, "I had my dad make a wooden ring box for me. My dad made my mom's ring, so I was following in his footsteps."
The actor and director will soon be seen in Disney’s new spin-off series, Girl Meets World.
