Ryan Reynolds may have had a rough year at the box office, but he’s got a nice birthday gift on Wednesday to help him forget. The actor turned 37 and spent part of the day at the Madame Tussauds Hollywood wax figure museum to see his own wax figure.

Reynolds dressed in a grey suit that matched the figure. Madame Tussauds said that Reynolds had come out on top in a recent Facebook poll of celebrities who need a wax figure, beating Ryan Gosling, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson and Sofia Vergara.

“Thank you to everyone at Madame Tussauds Hollywood for their hard work and talent,” Reynolds said when he saw the figure. “This is undoubtedly the largest and most spectacular birthday candle I've ever received."

Reynolds’ figure was made using 330 pounds of clay and took 20 skilled artists, who made 200 different measurements of actor. It then took months to make sure that Blake Lively couldn’t tell the difference between the wax figure and her real husband.

Reynolds starred in two of the biggest box office disappointments of the summer, R.I.P.D. and the animated movie Turbo. Both films were released on the same weekend. But, he’s married to Lively, so he shouldn’t complain. He will is currently working on The Captive and The Voices.
