Olivia attempts to contact Huck, He doesn’t want to be reached or even talk to Olivia. Huck completely distanced himself from the whole team of gladiators. Once he returns to the office, he confides on Olivia. He told her that he felt horrible because he realized that no matter what he is still a killer.
Olivia goes to The White House and walks right into a trap. Mary Lawrence wants the government to De-classify her son Chris’s Lawrence file. Chris was murdered by the FBI and labeled a terrorist. Olivia immediately takes control of the situation and works as the liaison between Mary and the government.
The FBI wants to put an immediate end to the situation. As soon as they get a clear shot, they have every intention to kill Mary, even if that means the bomb will go off and everyone else will die. To prevent that the bold and brave Kerry Washington steps in the line of fire and dares them to take a clear shot at her.
David grows some balls in this episode and takes on Cyrus. He tells Cyrus that he is fully aware that he team of agents that received a pay increase after a raid. He wants Cyrus to show him the file about Mary’s son and why he was brutally murdered.
The President speaks privately to Olivia on the phone. He tells her that Chris Lawrence was a CIA Agent and an American hero. Chris Lawrence was killed by the FBI on mistake because they did not know his true undercover identity. They are sorry that Mary will never know the truth; but by revealing the truth 57 other American patriots could die.
Olivia tells Mary that he was a terrorist and a high member in Alcadeia. Mary takes this extremely hard. As would anyone who just found out that their son was actually a terrorist. She waits for Olivia and the congress man to clear the room. Then she detonates the bomb and the room explodes. Because of this Olivia is distraught. The truth was in her hands and on her lips but she still chose to lie; once again, to save her country.
