Sesame Street has decided to continue making parodies of popular TV shows and its latest one is a pun-filled video poking fun at Homeland, called Homelamb.
People reports that Sesame Street does a good job at poking fun at the Showtime program. The video immediately starts off with a black and white intro featuring a jazzy soundtrack. Then it gets right into the silliness from there.
The video shows Special Agent sheep who are looking to catch the Big Bag Wolf. The sheep need a hero to help them and bring in Nicholas Ba-a-a-a-rody to help out. And his puppet is a hilarious and literal wolf in sheep's clothing, including Brody's red hair.
Naturally Carrie doesn't believe he's good and begins to question him in front of everyone. "Ba-a-a-a-rody is not the sheep you think he is!" she warns. "I think we need to put eyes and ears on him."
Of course, as she's accusing him and Saul disagrees, she's shown to be quite taken with Ba-a-a-a-rody nonetheless.
The video comes only a week after Homeland was renewed for a fourth season. The show has been averaging 6.5 million viewers throughout each week, Showtime says.
Watch and laugh (or groan at the puns):
