Irish singer, Sinead O'Connor blasted Miley Cyrus on her website. She wrote an open letter to the "Wrecking Ball" singer about her behavior.

She writes, "I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ‘cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos. It is in fact the case that you will obscure your talent by allowing yourself to be pimped, whether its the music business or yourself doing the pimping."

She also says that she she needs to be a role model to girls. She warns her that her sexual behavior overshadows her talent. She even says that,"you do not need the music business to make a prostitute of you."

O'Connor decided to write the open letter because Miley said in a Rolling Stone interview, that she looks up to Sinead O'Connor.

Miley heard about the letter and she went to her Twitter account and compared O' Connor to Amanda Bynes saying "Before Amanda Bynes there was..." with a screen capture of O'Connor's tweets.

According to E!Online, O'Connor wasn't having it and posted a second letter on Facebook where she said, "Ms Cyrus has today posted tweets of mine which are two years old and which were sent when I was ill and seeking medical help. She has done this in an attempt to deliberately cause me harm and hurt. "
She also said that she will be having her lawyers contact Miley's lawyers.
