The wife of Smallville's Tom Welling filed for divorce from Superman on Wednesday.
According to TMZ, Jamie White Welling drew up the papers at Los Angeles Superior Court on Oct. 16, citing that irreconcilable differences tore them apart.
The Smallville actor met Jamie, a model, in New York City. The Wellings were married on July 5, 2002 in Martha's Vineyard, reports E! News. Tom's friends and co-stars Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum celebrated their wedding with them.
Following their marriage, the couple lived in Vancouver for the most part, until they moved to Los Angeles in 2011. After 10 years of marriage, the couple officially separated in December 2012.
The couple managed to stay out of the spotlight for years, and Tom didn't do much after his role of Clark Kent. He was, however, the executive producer of the TV series Hellcats and will appear in the upcoming movie Draft Day with co-stars Jennifer Garner and Kevin Costner.
The divorce shouldn't be too messy – Jamie does want spousal support, but the couple never had any kids.
