Suzanne Somers is one of the most prevalent voices in the anti-aging market, having a wide-ranging amount of products and endorsing taking hormones for middle-aged women. However, she dropped a bombshell on Monday about her sex life with husband Alan Hammel.
Somers, 66, appeared on The Talk and talked about sex after 40, a hot topic since Miley Cyrus teased Matt Lauer about it on the Today Show. She said she and her husband of 36 years have sex "a couple times a day.”
She further explained of their healthy sex life, "He's on hormones and I'm on hormones. I'm going to be so sorry I said that. What is it about men at four in the morning? And then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings,” People reports.
When Cyrus, 20, was on the morning show this week, she told Lauer, “I hear when you turn 40, things start to go a little less sexual so probably around 40. I heard that people don't have sex anymore, so I guess maybe around then.”
When he said he was 55, she said "Oh, then you're really definitely not sexual.”
