The most fabulous diva in all the land Tamar Braxton, as thought of by herself of course, doesn’t seem to be thinking that for now. Being pregnant with her ‘love on top’ as she calls it isn’t the cake walk she thought it would be. As Tamar grows larger everyday she struggles with her self-image as a female singer in the music industry trying to maintain her sexy diva image.
The episode starts off with Tamar and her husbanger Vince, having a nice afternoon lunch when Vincent brings up that Tamar has a music video to shoot for her song ‘The One’. Tamar, believing that she’s fat, doesn’t want to shoot a video until after she has her baby, and her body is “snatched” and “beat” to capacity! Of course also being her manager, Vincent is having none of that! She’s going to shoot a video while being pregnant even if she thinks she looks fat.
Apart from all the chaos surrounding Tamar’s upcoming album and shooting music videos, the couple still has to get prepared for the arrival of their first baby. Shopping for all their baby needs before their sons’ welcome into the world, they definitely make sure he has best, with Vince insisting he needs more than one stroller.
Tamar’s been very busy, between promoting her album, and getting ready for her baby but she always has time for a little sister fun time. The Braxton sisters Toni, Towanda, Trina along with their mother Evelyn, stopped by Tamar’s hotel room, with her house being under construction, and decided it would be fun to do a belly cast. It doesn’t turn out to be much fun for Tamar as it was for her sisters when she realized she would have to lie on the couch for 30 minutes so the cast would dry. After reading the instructions the sisters quickly realized that they made a mistake and it was supposed to dry in a shorter period of time. Leaving Tamar to feel like she wasted her time sitting there when she could have almost peed herself!
The wardrobe fitting for Tamar’s music video ‘The One’ doesn’t seem to be going off without a hitch, trying to get the right look that makes her not feel fat. When she starts to try the clothes on, everybody including her husband Vince seems to think she looks fabulous expect for Tamar herself. She insists that there only trying to be nice by not telling her that she really looks fat. Her team of stylists finally chooses something that compliments her baby bump and she also requests a jean jumper to fit in with the 90’s throwback love video.
Tamar’s day of shooting for ‘The One’ begins, and even though she’s pregnant and tired, she’s not letting that hold her back! Through wardrobe and scene changes she still manages to keep up the pace while working and being pregnant. With her husbanger Vincent on the set, he makes sure she stays on track, sitting right alongside the directors’ chair.
Before Tamar and Vince fly out to Atlanta for the birth of their son where their family doctors are, they’re going to their last pre-birth session. Throughout the session the couple was advised to shift gears from the pregnancy stage to the after birth, when they will finally be parents.
