Taylor Momsen posed for the November issue of Maxim, proving she’s come a long way since her days on The CW’s Gossip Girl.
The Pretty Reckless singer, 20, posed in a pair of jeans and bulky sweater but lifted it up to show off her lacy black bra.
"It's less about what I'm wearing and more about feeling powerful while performing," she said about performing, which she usually does in lingerie. "That gets my blood flowing."
She went on to compare her music career to that of her role as Jenny Humphrey. "I've been making music since I can remember, and a few years ago I got to a place where I had a band and could quit acting; that was my day job," she said. "I was 12 when I signed on to Gossip Girl, and since then I've had two records, toured with Guns N' Roses...I mean, it feels like a different world."
E! Online notes Momsen quit the show in 2010 but returned for the series finale last year.
She has toured with Marilyn Manson and represented Madonna’s fashion line Material Girl.
