In the November issue of InStyle magazine, Taylor Swift admits that she needs to adjust what she's looking for in someone and that she's taking a step back from it all.
According to Celebuzz, the "Red" singer confesses that she "needs to change" what it is she is looking for.
The 23-year-old said, "My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting."
"That's just a phase I've been in lately. I don't think this should be how I proceed in life. It's important to be self-aware about these things because you don't want to end up with that guy."
So because of that Swift said she plans to "sit it out for a while."
While her love life might need some rebooting, the singer is still doing well in the music side of her life. As previously reported, she won the Nashville Songwriters Organization's Songwriter/Artist of the Year for a sixth time, setting a record.
Swift won for the first time in 2007, then in 2009 and every year since. Before this win, she was tied with Alan Jackson and Vince Gill for amount of wins.
