Taylor Swift’s rep is denying reports the country singer is dating True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard. Swift, 23, and Skarsgard, 37, are currently shooting The Giver together in South Africa.
Before they started filming, rumors surfaced that they met up a few times and had dinner together in Los Angeles.
The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer’s rep, however, is responding by saying "Taylor never met Alexander before she arrived in South Africa and they're not dating."
The rep also told The Mirror the rumors were “completely fabricated.” Swift has previously dated Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Taylor Lautner.
Swift and Skarsgard are shooting The Giver with Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Katie Holmes, Brenton Thwaites Cameron Monaghan and Odeye Rush.
Swift met producer Harvey Weinstein met her at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he introduced her to Thwaites and they became friends.
The film is based on Lois Lowry’s famous novel and it’s set for an August 2014 release.
