The cast has begun filming in Georgia for part one of the third movie in the Hunger Games trilogy.

Jennifer Lawrence plays the strong, fierce heroine of the Hunger Games franchise, Katniss Everdeen, who survived and won the Hunger Games when she volunteered to stand as tribute in place of her sister. Liam Hemsworth's character is Gale Hawthorne, a longtime friend and confidante of Katniss.

According to NY Daily News, Lawrence and Hemsworth were shooting emotional forest scenes in Sweetwater Creek State Park in Georgia.

The two were photographed with Lawrence resting her head on Hemsworth's shoulder as he gazed off into the woods. Hemsworth was also pictured holding a crossbow, which indicates that they were most likely working on one of the scenes where Katniss and Gale go hunting together outside the walls of District 12.

Julianne Moore will be joining the cast as District 13's president in Mockingjay, reports E!.

The second installment of The Hunger Games comes out Nov. 22 of this year, and Mockingjay Part 1 is set to be released on Nov. 21, 2014.
